Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 June 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the InvoiceNow application and website (the "Service") operated by InvoiceNow (PTY) LTD ("InvoiceNow", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

InvoiceNow lets you create, manage, and send invoices and quotations, manage clients and companies, and collaborate with team members. The Service is currently offered as a beta and may change, be interrupted, or contain limitations.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and your team members' accounts.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

  • sending unlawful, fraudulent, or infringing content;
  • attempting to breach security, access other tenants' data, or disrupt the Service;
  • using the Service to send unsolicited or deceptive communications.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the data you submit (companies, clients, invoices, quotations). You grant us a limited licence to process and store it solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you enter, including personal information about your clients.

5. Beta & availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during beta. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify or discontinue features.

6. Fees

Paid plans, where offered, are described in the app. During the beta the Service may be provided free of charge; we will give notice before introducing charges to your account.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

8. Disclaimers & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InvoiceNow is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. AWS Marketplace purchases

If you subscribe to the Service through AWS Marketplace, your use is governed by the Standard Contract for AWS Marketplace (SCMP) (as it may be amended by any applicable private offer), and billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled through your AWS account. Where the SCMP conflicts with these Terms for an AWS Marketplace subscription, the SCMP controls for that subscription.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms and will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
